A former 3-sport athlete, Jay recently decided to bring his talents to Los Angeles. Hailing from New York City, his experience and knowledge in the fitness industry are as diverse as the large group of clientele he amassed since beginning his career over 4 years ago.

His journey began when he turned a passion for fitness into action and enrolled in one the premiere personal training schools in america. The American Academy of Personal Training is a New York State Board of Education certified program that incorporates over 300 hours of classroom and hands-on learning to provide a comprehensive understanding of the human body. Upon completion of their program, Jay then became certified through the American College of Sports Medicine as a Certified Personal Trainer. Unsatisfied, and hungry for more knowledge Jay enrolled in college courses with the intent of studying biology and Anatomy to further expand his knowledge of the human body. After completing his associate of math and science he began working with student athletes designing after school programs for some of New York Cities public schools and began coaching the boys basketball team at the St. Aloysius school in Harlem. Always looking to expand his knowledge and deliver quality results, Jay decided to complete another certification through the National Academy of Sport Medicine, which focused on working with athletes to enhance their in-game performance.

From athletes to businessmen Jay has had experience working with all types of clientele in various settings which include: commercial gyms, private homes, parks, in-home gyms and more. He utilizes his background in athletics to create challenging workouts that maximize client results, while minimizing the risk for injury. Jay frequently practices yoga and finds it crucial to incorporate the restorative properties that a strong yoga practice can deliver. His nutritional guidance coupled with his personalized workout programs have helped countless clients achieve their goals. Whether you want to lose weight, get stronger, or increase your abilities in a sport specific setting, Jay has the tools to guide you for not only the one hour that you train with him, but for the other 23 hours of the day that you don’t.
