Weighing in on Wheat. The good and bad on wheat. Some say to take it, others say cut it out and add something else.

Well here are some of the good things about eating wheat.

Wheat is full of fiber, phytochemicals and a slew of vitamins and minerals.

Wheat is a low-fat complex carb that provides both soluble and insoluble fiber. It also may reduce heart disease and risk of some cancer. Fiber is an important nutrient for fat lose and cleansing your system.

Now here are some of the bad things that wheat brings to the table.

Wheat is a pro-inflammatory, so it contributes to us retaining water and looking bloated. It also can cause weight gain and breakouts.

With all this being said, do you give up on wheat and add something else like rice, quinoa and oatmeal as your carb source? What will you do and do you have any suggestions on this topic?
