Fat Gripz

Fat Gripz increase the diameter of the handles of dumbbells and barbells. They are rubber ‘inserts’ that wrap around the handle of dumbbells and barbells.

Why use them? Training with a thicker piece of equipment that’s harder to grip increases muscle fiber activation in hands, forearms, biceps and triceps. Your body is programmed to stay in proportion – so weak hands and forearms put the brakes on your muscular development. Your body’s natural reaction is to prevent imbalance and injury. So if you’re lacking strength in your grip and forearms – and almost everyone is – your body literally stops you increasing in strength and size.

Use the Fat Gripz for each of the below exercises. Complete 4 rounds of:

15 dumbbell curl and press
15 dumbbell bent-over rows
10 pull ups
20 push ups
100-yard farmer carries
